TAP PAP Combination Therapy

The TAP can be integrated with a CPAP for combination therapy. TAP Combination Therapy is reserved for patients with severe apnea.

Combination therapy of a TAP and CPAP provides the benefits of both mandibular advancement (a stabilized, open airway) and positive air pressure. The TAP is the only oral appliance with a custom attachment for a CPAP mask.

Advantages of TAP-CPAP Combination Therapy

  • No head straps
  • Perfect seal between the mask and the face
  • Reduced feelings of claustrophobia
  • Lower air pressure than CPAP therapy alone
  • High patient acceptance and compliance
